Insurance and Financing

For your convenience, at Lake Pointe Dental, we accept and offer a large array of Dental Insurance and Financing options. We want our patients to feel relaxed and comfortable with their financial options so they can make the best decision about their dental care. See below our accepted insurances and financial options.

Our staff will gladly process Lake Pointe Dental is a Preferred Provider for many of the most popular dental insurances. Dr. Mendoza is also a Medicaid/CHIPS provider. If you’re not sure about your insurance benefits, give us a call today. Lake Pointe Dental would be happy to help you!

Complimentary Insurance Billing

Your insurance claims as a courtesy to you. On your first visit to our office, please bring in your insurance information. This will ensure we have accurate information, and can be as thorough as possible to optimize your insurance benefits to help you pay for your dental care.

Dental insurance is intended to help cover some, but not all, costs of your dental care. Your plan may include a deductible and coinsurance provisions. These must be covered by the patient at the time of services. Reimbursement amounts are not intended to be a quality guideline for your care.

Lake Pointe Dental believes that decisions about your treatment should be made between you and Dr. Mendoza in order to utilize your insurance benefits to give you the care you need, but not dictate your oral health and well being.

  • Payment for services is due when checking in for your appointment. We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, personal checks, and cash.
  • Lake Pointe Dental files dental insurance claims as a courtesy to our patients. Due to the intricacies of insurance plans we can only provide you with an ESTIMATE of your cost of treatments and any co-payments. We can never guarantee the amount your insurance will cover. We will bill your insurance for our services and allow 30 days for them to render payment. You are responsible for any balance left after your insurance pays for any reason including the following reasons: changes in your policy or termination of your policy. The remaining balance is expected to be paid in full.
  • Secondary insurance is not accepted by us, but we will gladly assist you in filing your secondary insurance for reimbursement upon request.
  • MOST IMPORTANTLY: Please keep Lake Pointe Dental informed of any insurance changes. This includes changes in policy name, change of employment, or change of insurance company address. These reasons are so we can best determine your benefits and file your claim properly.

Accepted Insurance

We are in-network dental providers for most dental insurance companies; Including MetLife, Delta Dental, CHIP, Medicaid, Aetna, BlueCross BlueShield, CIGNA, Ameriplan, DenteMax and many others. If your insurance is not listed please call our dental office and we will be happy to verify if we are able to process your dental insurance.

Financing

In an ongoing effort to provide quality dentistry at an affordable cost to our patients we ask that care be paid for at the time of service. For your convenience we accept cash, check, Master Card, Visa, Discover and American Express. Financing options are available through Care Credit. Those that qualify may be eligible for 0-percent financing up to 24-months!
